On June 8, Brunello Cucinelli debuted its women’s and men’s perfumes in China, marking a significant entry into the market.
Crafted by perfumer Daphné Bugey, the women’s perfume unfolds with warm notes of pink pepper, bergamot, citrus, and orange blossom, transitioning into a soft blend of cedar and vetiver, and finishes with a comforting base of amber, woodsy notes, musk, and a unique sweet chestnut scent.
Daphné Bugey shared, "My inspiration comes from the natural colors of Brunello Cucinelli's clothing and the lightness and softness of its cashmere.”
The men's perfume by Brunello Cucinelli offers a special sensory experience crafted by perfumer Olivier Cresp: a bright opening with warm, fresh notes of bergamot and ginger, reminiscent of the brilliant sunshine of the Mediterranean; the scent captures earthy tones mixed with grass, slowly blending with the rich spices of juniper berries, angelica, black pepper, and sage, enriching the layers of fragrance; it concludes with warm, intense amber, exuding fresh natural vitality. The essence of green meadows culminates in a masterpiece.
Olivier Cresp explained, "Looking at images of Soromeo, I was struck by the beauty of the rows of cypresses under the blue sky. My concept started here.”
Both perfumes are available in three sizes: 30 ml, 50 ml, and 100 ml, with prices in Mainland China set at 795 RMB, 1150 RMB, and 1595 RMB respectively.
