On June 6th, Zegna unveiled its very first ZEGNA Caffè at HKRI Taikoo Hui, right next to the Zegna boutique.
Crafted by famed architect Patricia Urquiola, the café draws inspiration from Oasi Zegna, the heart of the brand’s values. The design features natural elements and cozy touches that envelop guests in an immersive ambiance. The standout plant feature represents a perfect blend of human, industrial, and natural harmony.
The café's logo, incorporating Zegna’s iconic 232 road element, pays homage to the historic road built by the founder over a century ago in Oasi Zegna.
Inside, the café feels warm and inviting, with Palladian style and black-stoned lime-washed marble floors, shelves backed with compressed cork on walnut walls, and a casual bar crafted from walnut and green marble with a multicolored texture that adds a touch of elegance.
The interior seamlessly transitions to the exterior through walls featuring Zegna's iconic design elements and thoughtfully selected furniture. Inside, there are Moroso chairs and custom tables designed by Urquiola, complemented by Cassina outdoor chairs, creating a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
At ZEGNA Caffè, guests can indulge in authentic Northern Italian dishes and fine drinks. The menu reimagines Piedmontese cuisine, offering upgraded classic Italian paninis with bagnet and veal tuna sauce, truffle or Russian salads, accompanied by fresh salad or chips. The café also serves a variety of appetizers like Italian pickled vegetable salad, soft Italian cheese, and chicken flavored tuna, paired with Piedmont wines including Nebbiolo and Barolo, alongside desserts and biscuits such as Biella cookies and almond cookies.
