Hermès Shanghai Launches Fall Windows

On August 21, Hermès unveiled its autumn window display at the Shanghai Maison, featuring a new installation by French artist Victor Cadene. The installation will run through mid-November and pays homage to the house’s 2025 annual theme, “Drawn to Craft.”

Cadene’s approach blends visual poetry and material design. Known for his mastery of collage and paper cutouts, the artist transforms minimalist illustrations into a spatial narrative where brushstroke becomes structure. Through layers of humanistic, historical, and natural references, the windows materialize his two-dimensional works into immersive tableaux.<
