HARMAY, the beauty and lifestyle disruptor known for its sleek shelving and curated edits, has landed in new territory—Terminal 2 of Shanghai’s Hongqiao International Airport—unveiling its first airport location on June 22.
Drawing inspiration from retro airplane cabins, the store design cleverly merges aviation nostalgia with HARMAY’s signature retail codes. Red fabric walls meet brushed metal shelving, while a central baggage carousel and LED “flight info” screens on both sides add movement and immersion to the space.
More than just a pop-up, the airport store is HARMAY’s first foray into transportation-hub retail and serves as a testing ground for cross-brand co-creation. A highlight is the HARMAY FRIENDS area, a modular display concept where partnered brands are invited to curate their own presence. The shelving system adapts in form and content, giving brands room to tell their stories—on their own terms.
With nearly 600 SKUs on offer, the store balances practicality and exploration. It stocks full-size and travel-friendly products from global names and indie darlings alike, covering skincare, fragrance, men’s care, and more. To mark the debut, HARMAY has teamed up with brand collaborators like MARVIS, DOCUMENTS, and “to Define” to launch limited-edition “airport exclusive” items tailored for the jet-setter.
The brand says more collaborations are in the pipeline. With this new airport format, HARMAY is betting on mobility, modularity, and multi-brand creativity to engage the modern traveler—and elevate the in-transit beauty ritual.
