On April 8, ACG (All Conditions Gear), Nike’s outdoor performance label, announced the addition of world-class trail runner Yao Miao to its All Conditions Racing Department (ACRD) as a core athlete. She will compete on the international circuit alongside the brand.
Yao Miao has carved an unshakable place in global trail running through her steady, resilient performances. She is Asia’s first athlete to claim three-time Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc finals champion and has delivered outstanding results across multiple international competitions. Currently ranked world No. 1 in the women’s 50km category by the International Trail Running Association (ITRA), she is widely regarded as one of the most influential female athletes in the international trail running community.

“The beauty of trail running lies in finding your rhythm and owning your path in all conditions,” Yao said. “I will be joining ACG as a member of the All Conditions Racing Department — because it is a team that believes limits are just starting points. I’m here to run faster, wilder and freer with ACG and to show the world that trail running’s power is not only in individual wins. It’s a community growing. It’s a sport taking root and thriving in China.”

Scott LeClair, ACG Global Vice President and General Manager, said: “I couldn’t be more inspired by what the All Conditions Racing Department stands for: a true team of wild, adventurous spirits pushing boldly into the unknown. Adding Yao Miao to our rockstar roster takes that energy to the next level. She brings joy, strength, and a fearless drive to take on whatever conditions come her way. Yao doesn’t just rise to the moment – she sets the standard and the pace, while inspiring and blazing a path for the next generation of adventurous girls around the world.”
ACG has long championed an "All Conditions means all conditions" philosophy, creating high‑performance gear for professional athletes and outdoor enthusiasts. Yao’s athletic spirit aligns deeply with the brand’s ethos, and her signing will further strengthen ACG’s professional standing in the global outdoor market.
Beyond competition, ACG will provide Yao with training resources, race support, equipment R&D collaboration, a true support system and more. Yao will also take part in testing and product development, bringing real‑world mountain feedback and insights from Chinese trail runners into ACG’s design process.

In recent years, ACG has deepened its commitment to the Chinese market — from sponsoring the 2025 Chongli 168 Ultra Trail to opening the world’s first “ACG Base Camp” in Beijing’s Sanlitun district this February. Yao’s addition serves as a vital bridge connecting Chinese trail running with the world, helping ACG build a more vibrant outdoor ecosystem.
Yao will also join Nike’s “Boundless Girls” initiative, a female empowerment program launched in 2018, aims to help girls unlock their potential through sport and role model influence. To date, it has reached more than 330,000 girls. This year, Yao will partner with Boundless Girls to launch running activities in primary and secondary schools across China, encouraging more children to build strength and confidence through running, and helping them discover the transformative power of sport — and perhaps their own trail‑running journey.
