Meng Yingqi, the current General Manager of La Roche-Posay China, has been appointed General Manager of L’Oréal Paris China, with her new role set to take effect on April 1, 2025, according to 36Kr. Meanwhile, Zong Guoning, who previously led L’Oréal Paris China, will transition to L’Oréal Group’s headquarter as Chief Digital Marketing Officer for the Consumer Products Division. The replacement for La Roche-Posay China’s General Manager position has yet to be announced.
A graduate of The School of Journalism at Fudan University, Meng Yingqi joined L’Oréal China in 2009 as a management trainee, beginning her career in customer management, online marketing, and sales for Shu Uemura. She later moved to L’Oréal Paris, working first on hair color before expanding her expertise into skincare and makeup, eventually rising to the role of Brand Business Director.
In March 2022, Meng Yingqi left L’Oréal Paris to take on the role of Brand Director at La Roche-Posay China. The following year, L’Oréal Group restructured its Active Cosmetics Division, rebranding it as the Dermatological Beauty Division, with La Roche-Posay positioned as one of its leading brands. That same year, Meng Yingqi was promoted to General Manager, overseeing the brand’s expansion in China.
During her tenure, Meng Yingqi has successfully grown La Roche-Posay’s market share while spearheading the expansion of the B5 Repair line, turning its B5 Repair Cream and Mask into best-selling products. L’Oréal Group credited Meng Yingqi for her key contributions in strengthening the Dermatological Beauty Division and bolstering La Roche-Posay’s position in the dermatologist-recommended skincare market.
