Versace is making a bold foray into interior design in China with the launch of a limited-time Versace Home showcase at its Shanghai IAPM boutique, running from June through August. The pop-up aims to infuse everyday living with the brand’s unmistakable Italian aesthetics—equal parts opulent and avant-garde.
Co-developed with the Luxury Living Group, the curated installation presents Versace’s latest home collection, first revealed at the 2025 Salone del Mobile in Milan. This marks a strategic move to bridge its fashion identity with the fast-growing home and lifestyle sector.
At the center of the display is the Harem armchair—an enveloping, sculptural piece inspired by the stacked floor cushions Versace introduced in 2010. With its steel core, deep upholstery, and layered cushion design, the chair offers both visual complexity and a cocoon-like comfort. Available in an array of luxe fabrics and leathers, Harem exemplifies the brand’s pursuit of comfort without compromise on edge.
Another icon reimagined is the Vanitas armchair. First introduced in 1994, it returns with a more refined silhouette, crafted from precious woods and dressed in either intricately printed or monochrome velvet. The piece extends Versace’s legacy of poetic design narratives applied to modern living.
The Acantho chaise longue adds a touch of neoclassical drama with flowing lines inspired by the acanthus leaf. Medusa accents appear subtly on the armrests, and its materials—alpaca and suede—are offered in full or mixed finishes, including bespoke options.
For the dining room, the Tholos table plays with form and shadow through its sculpted surface and dramatic black-and-gold palette. It comes in round and rectangular shapes with sizes suited to both formal dining and casual gatherings. Meanwhile, the Ovalina chair makes a visual statement with its elliptical metal frame, available in pearl-finished and matte black-and-white variants.
Completing the experience is a La Greca-style crystal chandelier—a dramatic punctuation mark that illuminates the space with a touch of Versace’s signature theatricality.
