On March 13, Tiffany & Co. hosted a grand celebration to mark the official opening of its newly redesigned flagship store in Chengdu’s Taikoo Li.
The event saw the presence of Tiffany's Global President and CEO Anthony Ledru, Greater China President Maxence Kinget, and acclaimed actress Zhang Ziyi, who came together for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. They were joined by brand ambassador Zhong Chuxi, actor Zhang Ruoyun, and actor-singer Dong Sicheng, adding to the evening’s glamour.
As Tiffany's first three-story flagship in China, the store embodies the house’s signature innovation while embracing the cultural essence of Chengdu. To commemorate the occasion, the brand introduced an exquisite series of artistic window displays. One of the standout designs offers a mesmerizing reinterpretation of Chengdu’s Renmin Park, where Jean Schlumberger’s iconic “Bird on a Rock” creation appears nestled within a verdant bamboo grove. A winding staircase meanders through the foliage, leading to a still, mirror-like pond that reflects the legendary designer’s masterpieces. The display is a poetic dialogue between it's craftsmanship and Chengdu’s cultural landscape.
From March 24 to May 25, the Chengdu flagship will also host “Tiffany & Co. Antique Collection”, a curated showcase that unfolds in three thematic chapters, offering a glimpse into nearly two centuries of the house’s rich legacy.
