On August 15, Saucony deepened its creative partnership with LAMFO’s Hare Ho with the official launch of Project “S”, a new collaborative series unveiled at an experiential event in Shanghai.
Set inside a futuristic “time machine”-inspired installation, the launch played with light, material, and movement to create a cross-dimensional runway space. The theme, RUNWAY for Runners, wasn’t just aesthetic—it spoke directly to Saucony’s intent to fuse the world of performance running with design-led fashion sensibilities.
The new collection explores the tension between structure and individuality. Maintaining Hare Ho’s minimalist visual codes, the collection introduces bold color-blocking in three central hues: Galaxy Blue symbolizes ambition and clarity, Energy Red conveys drive and determination, and Restrained Grey channels calm and control. A live runway show gave attendees a first look at the collection’s styling potential beyond the track.
Tech and art met in a key segment titled “30-Second Immersion”, where each guest wore a synced wrist device that lit up and moved in harmony with the stage installation—turning a runway moment into a shared performance of light, time, and interaction.
To close the night, attendees took the collection into the real world with a 5km night run through Shanghai’s urban streets. With LFRC run club members and special guests leading the way, Project “S” was not just seen—but experienced, one step at a time.
